DRI said a consignment of Heroin weighing 2.21 kg meant for the Shillong-based drug syndicates smuggled through the Indo-Myanmar border and brought from Manipur was seized in East Khasi Hills.
In an operation launched against a drug syndicate, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 807.18 grams of heroin contained in 65 soap cases on April 5 and arrested three persons in connection with it in Guwahati.
