The Chandel District Police hosted a reception of the players who represented the district in the Manipur Olympic Games 2022.
Upon their arrival from the main venue, Khuman Lampak to district Headquarter, the Chandel Police led by SP, Chandel Hemant Pandey hosted the reception at DC Office Complex, Chandel.

Welcoming the sportspersons, additional SP Chandel Shangkerjit Loitongbam praised the athletes for their wonderful and excellent performances in their respective events and bringing laurels to the district.
He also advised them to maintain their physical fitness intact. He also lauded the efforts of the Executive Committee DSA, Chandel and other officials involved in mobilising to the successful participation in the State Olympic Games 2022.
Athletes from Chandel District have won two silvers and five bronze medals in the disciplines of Karate, Judo, Boxing and Squash.
