A 45-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a biker on Wednesday at around 6.30pm at Kakwa Asem Leikai, Imphal-Moreh road under the jurisdiction of Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West.

The deceased has been identified as Samurailatpam Biren @ Shyamsundar, son of (L) S Kullachandra of Kakwa Asem Leikai. According to reports, a Royal Enfield Himalayan without a registration number hit the pedestrian who succumbed to his injuries at RIMS hospital.
