A girl paticipant from Sinadam village in Chandel district won the video contest on ‘Women and Anaemia’ held to spread awareness about the illness among adolescent women.
Over 60 videos on spreading awareness on Anemia in adolescent women were recieved for the video contest on ‘Women and Anaemia’ organised specially for women residents of Chandel district, Manipur.
One Th Yearshim Monsang from Sinadam village was adjudged the winner of the contest and she took home a sum of Rs 4,000 along with a certificate.
Chinghring Rebirthson Ritoon and Doshung Ruwnglel from Abungnikhu village were adjudged second and third positions respectively, taking home Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 with certificates.
Db Naomi from Angkhel Chayang village and Everest Huten from Tampi village rounded off the 4th and 5th position, taking home Rs 500 each with certificates.
The video contest was organised by wisecrabs - Chandel in collaboration with the Office of the CMO Chandel, under the Central government's ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ initiative.
The prize distribution was held on Thursday at the office of the CMO, Hnatham village with CMO Dr Serthani Serbum; president, Wisecrabs Ts Mhanthung Anal, Tovir Ng (CMO Office), executive, Wisecrabs Ts Konia and Executive, Wisecrabs Db Rengshing in attendance.
