Mizoram has reported 63 single day COVID-19 positive cases, which is more than that of Assam at 43 and the highest among all states in Northeast India, as per the Union Health Ministry's last updated data on Saturday.
Assam, which has been reporting the highest number of cases in Northeast India, today has 7,44,920 COVID-19 confirmed caseload, including 2,781 active cases and death toll of 8,033 as on Saturday.
Mizoram's COVID-19 confirmed caseload has reached 2,37,714 so far, and its active case tally currently is 386. Its number of recoveries increased to 2,36,606 and death toll stood at 722 so far.
The state's active ratio is 0.16 per cent of the total cases, while its death ratio is 0.30 per cent and its recovery rate recorded last is 99.53 per cent.
