Manipur reported no new COVID-19 death while four new COVID-19 cases were detected on Wednesday, official sources said.
According to the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Wednesday, two new positive cases are from Imphal West, one each from Bishnupur and Pherzawl. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it stated.
The State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee stated that the cumulative number of deaths stood at 2,148.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state reached 1,39,748 and recovered cases is 1,37,550. As many as eight persons were discharged after completion of surveillance, the release stated.
The number of COVID-19 active cases is 50 in total and recovery rate is 98.43 per cent.
As on September 6, a total of 446D-type Oxygen cylinders and 123B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid 19 vaccine administered on September 6 was 2089. The cumulative number of doses administered so far is 31,95,272. Out of them, first dose count is 16,34,525, second dose is 1,309,691 and precautionary dose coverage reached 2,51,056.
