The double pair of Ribaskar and Aken lifted the champion title of 35 years plus category in the 2nd Manipur Floodlight Tennis Tournament, 2022 organised by Imphal District Tennis Association at its complex at Lamphelpat.
In the final match, Ribaskar and his partner Aken relatively had a quiet game as they tamed Bona and Rabi by 6-3 and 6-2 sets to lay their hand on the Champion title while the latter had to contend with the Runners Up title.
As many as 16 pairs took part in the 35 age plus category competition.
As for the 45 year plus category, Prakash and his partner Ranjan got a walkover to claim the Champion title as the pair of Ibohal and Jayanta is yet to recover from their injury sustained during the semi-final match. Sixteen pairs of players also participated in this age group.
