Nagaland Wild Hogs and Assam Rhinos settled for 3-3 goals to share a point each in the 1st North East Women's Football Tournament 2022 played at SAI NERC Turf Ground at Takyelpat, Imphal West.
The drawn game provided one point each to the teams to stay on 8 points each with Nagaland having played six matches including two wins, two drawn and two lost games while Assam have played seven matches winning two, drawn two and lost three games.
Nagaland Wild Hogs took the centre stage in the first half with Neke K scoring two goals while H Shangki Konyak fetched one goal. However, Assam Rhinos turned the table in the second half with Sunila making two connections to the goals while Pakhila made one goal. Nagaland player Mhasikhonuo got a yellow card in the match.
In the other match, Tripura Pythons hold on Mizoram Black Bears by 1-1 goals to share a point each as well. Sampali Jamatia scored the opening goal for Tripura team in the first half and later Mizoram fetched the equaliser through Grace H Lalrampari in the second half for the drawn result. Nagaland player Nancy L and Tripura player Saluni Jamatia got yellow cards in the match.
Tripura Pythons have 3 points from seven matches, drawn three games and lost four while Mizoram Black Bears have played seven matches, culling up 1 points, losing five and drawn one match.
