Cyclone Thangmeiband pulls off a 132 runs win against Champ Khagempalli

Cyclone all-rounder Kishan Laishram was declared the Man of the Match for his 98 runs knock and 4 wickets haul.

Cyclone Thangmeiband rode on Kishan Laishram majestic 98 runs knock to beat Champ Khagempalli by 132 runs in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Imphal East.

After a disastrous start by Cyclone openers, top order batsman Kishan Laishram came to the rescue as he smashed 98 runs from 105 balls with able support from L.Ronald Meitei, who was unlucky to dismissed at 49 runs from 101 balls, to put up 203 runs for 5 wickets from 40 overs. Bikash Singh contributed 37 runs.
Champ bowlers M.Thomas claimed 2 wickets for 33 runs from 7 overs while Md.Ahsanul Kabir, S.Shankar, L.Ansh took 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target, Champ batsman had a hectic time at the crease as they faced some accurate bowling attack and managed to put up 71 runs for 10 wickets from 25 overs. Md.Sultan Karim top scored with 23 runs while Samir got 16 runs. Cyclone bowler Kishan Laishram was the most manancing and economical bowler claiming 4 wickets for 7 runs from 6 overs while L.Santosh bagged 3 wickets, Bikash, Roshan and Raju Singh got 1 wicket each.

Later Cyclone all rounder Kishan Laishram was declared the Man of the Match for his 98 runs knock and 4 wickets haul.
