As the present government has started taking up frequent activities in connection with ‘War on Drugs’, the seizing of drugs and arresting of peddlers are increasing.

Responding to the media, CM Biren said there is no paediatrics or cancer hospital in the state and some patients are preferring to undergo treatment outside the state due to lack of facilities. The government will also take necessary steps should the contractual staffs recruited during the pandemic are to be engaged, he added.
