The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Wednesday extended Ningol Chakouba 2022 greetings to the people of the state, particularly womenfolk, living in different parts of the world, on the occasion.
The MPCC said in a statement that the special occasion which is celebrated by sharing of feasts, gifts and blessings between the brothers and sisters in the state further strengthen the unbreakable bond.
“May the celebration of Ningol Chakouba spread the celebration of love and respect between the brothers and sisters to the whole world,” it added.
The festival is celebrated annually on the second day of the ‘Hiyangei’ month of the Manipuri Lunar calendar.
