Amidst the ongoing unrest and all the chaos prevailing in Manipur, one locality in Imphal East has come forward as an epitome of communal harmony.
Strick vigil round the clock is kept by the Laipham Khunou Youth Development Association (LKYDA), Women Association and Meira Paibi.
Despite the presence of different communities in the locality, communal harmony is being maintained at Laipham Khunou in Imphal East, LKYDA executive member M Sunil said, while speaking to the media in Imphal.
He appealed to the people of the state to stay alert and avoid rumours.
A public meeting held by LKYDA also resolved to support the government in all steps to restore normalcy in Manipur, he added.
