Ministers Nemcha Kipgen and Awangbow Newmai have extended their heartfelt greetings to the people of the state, especially to the Christian brethren, on the auspicious and joyous celebration of Christmas.
In her message, Minister Nemcha Kipgen said “As the old adage urges, let us all remember the reason for the season. We remember the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and saviour”.
“May this festival bring our lives filled with love, laughter, joy, hope and a spirit of deep thankfulness as we reflect on God's blessings on our lives”, she added.
Minister Awangbow, in his message, said Christmas celebration marks the birth of Lord Jesus Christ and appealed to the people to follow Christ’s teachings of love, compassion and charity, with a firm commitment towards welfare of our state and country.
He added that “may the spirit of Christmas bring you and your family hope, happiness and love”.
