Manipur Textile Minister Nemcha Kipgen spent a cheerful time with widows of her constituency Kangpokpi as she danced and dined with them during the Advent Christmas feast at El-Shaddai-The Blessed Home in Kangpokpi HQ on Monday.
Organized under the theme, "Chamna Lengpa", the Advent Christmas celebration was attended by Paokam Kipgen as minister among others.
Calling the widows of the Kangpokpi area "strong mothers", Minister Nemcha Kipgen said that it was their tireless and unceasing prayer that kept Kangpokpi warm, peaceful, and protected.
The Minister, handing over a blanket each to the Kangpokpi mothers, said that it was their prayer that helped her to serve the people of Manipur.
"The prayer of the widows is the strength and blessing to all leaders and the people of Kangpokpi", the Minister asserted as she conveyed her deep delightedness to have such strong and exemplary mothers (widows) in her Constituency.
She also said that it was great having a good time together with the widows and expressed gratitude to them for their fasting prayer and love while adding that their dedication and strong will were truly motivating and appealed to all to continue the good work.
The widows of Kangpokpi also offered an "altar" for the Minister and had a joint mass prayer for the wellbeing of the Minister led by Paokam Kipgen, the blessing minister, Hekim Hangshing, and Neilam Chongloi.
