Doing his bid to lift the burden faced by students due to the skyrocketing of travel fares, one auto driver Thokchom Abhiram from Khangabok Khullakpam Leikai made an announcement that he will be providing free rides to students on his regular route from Khangabok to Thoubal.

In a press conference at Ema Kids, in Khangabok Khullakpam Leikai, Abhiram said that the increase of public transportation fares owing to the price hike of petrol and diesel, has proven to be a burden to the public especially the students.
