“Manipur is not a big state but still both the Centre and state government are unable to initiate proper measures; the might of the world’s largest democracy has fallen from grace in Manipur,” she said.

She also condemned the step-motherly treatment of the centre and the failure of the prime minister to even speak on the crisis in Manipur.

“He has time for his tours and election campaign but no time to address the violence and suffering taking place in the country; the double-engine government is squashing the people instead of helping them,” she said.

She maintained that all people of Kakwa Lamdaibung had resolved to disown the government.
