A 52-year-old man died in a road mishap in Imphal on Saturday night.
According to sources, the man died on the spot after being hit by a Tata tipper bearing registration number MN06T/2040.

The incident took place near Chingmeirong Police Outpost under the jurisdiction of Lamphel Police Station at around 8:30 pm. The man was on an Activa bearing registration number MN01C/8225.
The deceased has been identified as Naoroibam Sachi, son of (L) N Mangi from Heingang Awang leikai.

Lamphel Police station has registered a case and the body has been handed over to his family after carrying out post mortem in RIMS mortuary, police said.
