Locals of Pungdongbam in Imphal East under Lamlai AC have drawn the attention of the state government to ensure that the ration rice under NFSA is distributed regularly, considering the financial issue faced by the citizens in this current unrest situation of Manipur.
Speaking to the media at the community hall of Pungdongbam, a resident of the locality termed it unfortunate that the citizens of Lamlai AC are not getting the ration rice during this critical hour, while people of other constituencies are getting the ration rice of NFSA in time.
The agents informed us that the ration rice shares have been cut off due to some mandatory reason, she said, appealing to the concerned authority to issue the pending ration rice for the pending months.
