Curfew has been relaxed from 5 am to 6 pm in both the districts of Imphal East and Imphal West for Sunday except for whole areas along the Tiddim Road from Keishampat Junction to Ningthemkol Crossing.
A notification by the magistrates of both the districts stated that curfew in two districts will be relaxed from 5 am to 6 pm to facilitate the general public to purchase essential items, including medicines and food items.

However, for Imphal West District, the curfew relaxation will not apply to the whole areas along the Tiddim Road from Keishampat Junction to Ningthemkol Crossing.
However, movement of persons belonging to essential services such as Health, Electricity, Petrol Pump, PHED, Schools/Colleges, Municipality, Press and Electronic media, functioning of courts and to and fro movement of flight passengers to airport shall be exempted from the imposition of curfew.
