Lucy Murder Case: Three accused in police custody

Produced before the CJM on Friday wherein they were formally arrested by the Sogalmang police station.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Imphal East has remanded the three accused in Lucy Murder case in police custody till July 25.

The accused have been identified as Konsam Naocha alias Lanmeithanbi Meitei, 43, son of (L) K Maipak of Huidrom Mayai Leikai; Okram Samungou Meitei, 38, son of (L) Ibocha of Keibi Heikak Mapal and Ongnam Suraj Meitei, 27, son of O Bihari of Keibi.

They were produced before the CJM on Friday wherein they were formally arrested by the Sogalmang police station.

It may be mentioned that Lucy Maring was killed on July 15 by armed miscreants. The mortal remains of the victim were handed over to the family after conducting a post mortem at JNIMS mortuary on July 19.
