Civil society organisations and several people of Tamenglong have expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Tamenglong assembly constituency MLA Janghemlong Panmei for timely development work carried out in the district HQ.
The Chairmen and Secretaries Association Tamenglong (CSAT) and the Village Authority Chairmen Council appreciated MLA Jenghemlung Panmei for ensuring proper paving of Tamenglong town road and town ring road in a timely manner.
The town road was in a deplorable condition, and the dust emitted during the dry season had severely affected commuters, particularly the students community.
CSAT chairman Makiujeiyang Gangmei said MLA Jenghemlung Panmei has initiated work to repair the town ring road and main bazaar road as promised. "His efforts to construct good roads are appreciated by all," he said.

Gangmei pointed out that the town ring road from the main bazaar toward Immanuel Baptist Church and Apollo Ground towards the court complex and old DC office have been blacktopped despite facing constraints in the development funds.

The CSAT chairman further said that after Panmei assumed as Tamenglong AX MLA, he started monitoring all development projects by making personal visits to ensure all development projects were completed in time while quality of the work was maintained as well.
He also appealed to the MLA to ensure proper pavement of the remaining town ring road which remains in a deplorable condition, in the interest of the public.
