A cleanliness drive under ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ in celebration of the 72nd birthday of PM N Modi was organised by the BJP Heirok Mandal at the complex of Heirok Community Health Centre on Sunday.
The event was attended by BJP Heirok Mandal president Th Chourjit, general secretary N Brojen, Heirok Zilla Parishad member T Nungshi Singh and representatives of Youth and Kishan Morcha.
On the occasion, Th Chourjit said that the Heirok Mandal will carry out a half-month long service drive as part of the celebration of the 72nd celebration of PM Modi. He added that as part of the service drive, various programmes including tree plantation, blood donation and health check-up will be organised.
Meanwhile, BJP Wangkhem Mandal also organised a cleanliness drive as part of the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ at Thoubal Haokha Keithel.

The event was attended by Wangkhem assembly constituency BJP candidate Y Nabachandra Singh, former leaders of the mandal Kh Thambal and M Ibobi, Thoubal Municipal Council former councillor N Shanti Devi, and BJP Kishan Morcha president S Ranbir Singh along with other members.
Thoubal district BJYM Committee also organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp as part of the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ at Thoubal District Hospital, Khangabok on Saturday.
During the blood donation camp, BJP Manipur state president Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi, Power and Forest minister Thongam Biswajit handed over recognition certificates to the members of the BJP mandal who donated blood.
The event was attended by Thoubal District BJP president Kumarjit Yumnam and BJYM Thoubal District president Jitendra Thokchom.
