Churachandpur, Imphal East report new COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 infection was detected in two more persons in Manipur on Thursday

Manipur on Thursday reported two more COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the number of active cases to 13, while one was discharged on Thursday.

According to a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Thursday, one male and one female tested COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours, one each from Churachandpur and Imphal East, thus taking the cumulative number of Covid 19 cases in the state now to 1,39,835.

However, no deaths due to Covid 19 have been reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state, and the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remained 2,149.

The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on October 12 was 846. The cumulative doses administered so far is 32,45,031. Of it, the first dose totaled 16,45,368, the second dose 13,29,431 and precautionary dose totaled 2,70,232.
