Manipur BJP president A Sharda Devi on Wednesday said that the party has been monitoring the present crisis round the clock since its eruption and has been sending reports to the central government from time to time.

Sharda dismissed the Congress party's allegation that following the signing of SoO agreement with the Central government and the UKLF, the BJP party took political benefit in the Manipur Legislative Assembly election.

NEDA convenor and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had issued a written clarification on the matter that no such advantage was taken in connection with the SoO agreement, Sharda said.

The state party also submitted a report of the crisis to Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, national party president and other authorities from time to time.
