A session needs to be convened to discuss the present turmoil in Manipur to save the state, said Manipur MLA Thangjam Arunkumar. He expressed disappointment over the recent assembly session which was adjourned without discussing the present crisis facing the violence-hit state.
Arunkumar was speaking during the handing over of Thangjam Birachandra Maipakpi community hall at Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai, Imphal on Thursday.

Responding to the media, Arunkumar said that as an elected representative, he is dissatisfied with the recent assembly session. In the House, there is Speaker and leader of the House and all the MLAs have to follow their decision for the welfare of the public, he said.
Emphasising on saving the state in the wake of the present crisis, he stressed that a session needs to be convened to discuss the present turmoil in Manipur as it is most important to save Manipur.
The MLA also said the community hall was handed over to the people of Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai. The Thangjam family renovated it with modern facilities before handing it over to the public.
