ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Meghalaya, has inked an MoU with the University of Science and Technology (USTM), Meghalaya for academic and research collaboration as per ICAR New Delhi guidelines on January 10, 2023, at HQ, Umiam.
USTM is the first private university with which ICAR RC-NEH, Umaim has come into agreement to collaborate for academic, research in agricultural and allied sciences.
This MoU would be of immense benefit to both parties (ICAR & USTM) by harnessing each other's capabilities to further the interest of the farming community, students, and youths and for the overall development of the North East region.
ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region is known for its excellent research in agricultural and allied sciences while USTM is known for its vast student base requiring quality education in the emerging areas of cutting-edge science and development of self-reliance through agricultural entrepreneurs.
