The Handicapped Development (HD) Foundation is all set to provide electric wheelchairs to persons with disability having mobility challenges.
The HD Foundation stated in a release that it has taken an initiative to provide electric wheelchairs to PWD pursuing class X to XII under the project Samarthya “Yes We Can”.

The main objective of the project is to provide safe, smart and accessible mobility solutions to meritorious physically challenged students to achieve their life goals by pursuing higher education and to become self-sustained, it added.
The foundation stated that any interested students may contact 03857965004 or visit their office located at Sagolband Tera Pukhri Mapal near Kebol High School-795001 from 1:30 pm to 4 pm from Monday to Saturday.
Criteria: The applicant should be a person with physical disability having mobility challenges. Family Income (Parent, Sibling/Guardian combined) should be less than two lakh per annum, it added.
