Manipur on Wednesday reported zero COVID-19 case and death confining the state's tally and death toll at 1,37,241 and 2,120 respectively, according to the latest update by the state health department.
A total of 65 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Wednesday, of which all returned negative. Manipur has so far conducted 16,13,446 COVID-19 tests.
One new COVID-19 recovery was recorded in the state on Wednesday. The number of recovered cases stood at 1,35,119 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has two COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, a total of 128 oxygen cylinders and two B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 5.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,09,478 (first dose: 15,73,642 second dose: 12,36,739 precautionary dose: 99,097).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.90 per cent and for the second dose is 52.41 per cent, it mentioned.
