Manipur logs three new COVID-19 positive cases

Manipur's COVID-19 confirmed caseload reached 1,39,790, including 1,37,610 recoveries and 32 active cases.

Manipur on Monday reported three new COVID-19 cases and one recovery, taking the confirmed caseload to 1,39,790, including 1,37,610 recoveries and 32 active cases. The recovery rate is now 98.44 per cent.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Monday, of the positive cases from the general population, two are from Thoubal and one from Kakching. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it said.

The State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported no death case of COVID-19 .The cumulative number of deaths stood at 2148.

As on September 18, a total of 50 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 20 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities in Manipur.

The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on September 18 is 335. The cumulative doses administered so far is 32,17,061. Of it, the first dose coverage reached 16,39,896, second dose 13,18,553 and precautionary dose is 2,58,612.
