Manipur on Monday reported four new COVID-19 positive cases of the 284 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
According to a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room Monday, three males and one female were tested positive for the disease. The cases confirmed as new COVID 19 positive cases from RIMS was one and three from other testing centres.
The positive cases from the general population are two from Imphal West and one each from Kakching and Churachandpur. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported zero dead case of Covid-19. The cumulative number of deaths is 2,148.
Only three persons were discharged after completion of surveillance.
The cumulative number of positive cases climbed to 1,39,742 and the recovered cases was 1,37,532. The number of active cases was 62 and recovery rate is 98.42 per cent.
As on September 4, a total of 32 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 12 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of Covid 19 vaccine doses administered on September 4 is 82. The cumulative doses administered so far is 31,91,380 (out of it, first dose is 16,33,955, second dose is 13,08,385 and precaution dose is 2,49,040).
