Ukraine's interior minister Denys Monastyrsky was among the 14 people killed in a helicopter crash near a nursery outside Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine on Wednesday, according to reports.
As per the reports, nine people onboard and three crew members were killed. Among those on board were interior minister Denys Monastyrsky and four other ministry officials who were flying to the northeastern Kharkiv region. The crash also killed a child on the ground, while 25 others, including 11 children were injured, reports said.
The Ukrainian authorities have initiated an investigation into the chopper crash, the reports added.
