Relief camp inmates conduct tree plantation at Ecological Park

A heartfelt participation of a relief camp inmates added a significant community spirit in enriching the beauty of the Ecological Park at Loukoipat, Bishnupur.

In a remarkable effort to restore and enrich the natural beauty of the Ecological Park at Loukoipat, Bishnupur district, a tree plantation programme was conducted by inmates of a relief camp on Thursday.

This endeavor was organised under the aegis of DASRA- Rebuild India, New Delhi programme, in collaboration with the PRDA.

The Bishnupur Tengbang Lup Relief Camp, in conjunction with the dedicated Loukoipat Committee members Nepram Bimola and Sorokhaibam Nilakamal, played a pivotal role in making this event a success.

Notably, the heartfelt participation of inmates staying at the Bishnupur Relief Camp added a significant community spirit to the occasion.

A total of 150 saplings were meticulously planted during this initiative, marking a meaningful step towards rejuvenating the ecological park and safeguarding the indigenous tree species that grace the state.
