KYVO & SWC Khupham blanked UFC Bishnupur by 3-0 goals to collect full points in the 1st L Itomcha Singh Memorial First Division Football League 2022-23 organised by DSA Bishnupur at Mini Stadium.
The KYVO & SWC team took the game in more serious terms as they charged on any available option to shake the opponent morale in the 3rd minute of play with L Bolen Singh heading home the opening goal.
UFC was rather slow in their ball passing thus wasted chances, which should have been close one. Seizing the opportunity, KYVO & SWC dug even more deeper and got the result when N Supreme found the gaping holes between the onrushing keeper to slot home in the 35th minute to make 2-0 goals in the first half.
UFC seems to have two thoughts working at the same time either attack or defend, but what hit next sealed their fate as KYVO goal scorer N Supreme pops a close angled shot to bring up the winning goal in the 74th minute for the victory.
KYVO & SWC players N Naocha, Th Naresh and UFC player Thaimei Edwin got yellow cards in the match.
In the other match, OSA Oinam beat UKCCL Oinam by 2-1 goals. O Tondonba and Malemganba scored a goal each for Oinam team while Krishnakanta fetched the lone goal for UKCCL team.
