YUCC Kwakeithel beat Oscar Paona Bazar by 4 wickets in the 9th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2022 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Luwangsangbam on Saturday.

Oscar, winning the toss decided to bat first where they scored 113 runs for 7 wickets from 20 overs with Devdutta top scoring with 23 runs while Zewel got 22 runs and Hokendro made 17 runs. YUCC bowler Mani claimed 4 wickets while Bijesh and Himat got 1 wicket each.

In reply, YUCC batsman reached the target in 19.2 overs losing 2 wickets in the process. Basanta struck 31 runs while Premjit got 25 runs and Himat contributed 22 runs to YUCC victory. Oscar bowler Bijoy, Kapoor, Devdutta and Devkanta fetch 1 wickets each. YUCC bowler Mani was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 4 wicket haul.

The other match between YWC Langthabal and LCCC Chajing at Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary School Ground was postponed due to rain.
