Th Yaisana Meitei of Standard College, Kongba claimed the overall Champion title of the N Surendra Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Best Physique (M) Competition 2023-24 organised by Department of Sports, MU at Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium, Canchipur.
Yaisana Meitei beat six other title holders of various weight categories for the overall title; he competed in the 70 kg category weight division.
In the 60 kg category, M Rahul Meitei of Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal got the top title beating two others while in 65 kg, Ph Arun Meitei of Biramangol College Sawombung bagged the first position and in the 70 kg category, Th Yaisana took the top title, beating four competitors.
As for the 75 kg, Y Thomas of NG College fetched the top spot while in 80 kg, Kh Rishikanta Singh of NG College, Uripok bagged the title and in 85 kg, A Pibarel Meitei of Mayai Lambi College and in 90 kg, Y Indrkumar Singh of Pandit Deen Dayal, Utlou grabbed the top coveted titles.
