Shadow CC Thangmeiband pull off a huge 285 runs win against AKSDO Khangabok in the opening match of the 1st MNCA Under 14 Boys Tournament 2021-22 played at Pakhangba Cultural Club, Mayaikoibi Ground, Imphal West.
The Shadow CC boys decided to bat first after winning the toss and registered a huge 307 runs for 8 wickets from 30 overs with opener Thomson hitting a stylish 79 runs off 39 balls. To cement their innings furthermore, A Goshan made 35 runs while Tyrus Ch got 28 runs, S Lanchenba and Semson hit an identical 23 runs.
AKSDO bowlers Raylight N claimed 3 wickets while Chingamba, MC Chan Meitei, Rohit Meitei and Bidyananda N took 1 wickets each.
Chasing the target, AKSDO batsmen were bundled out for a mere 22 runs for 10 wickets from 9.2 overs. S Thoihenba scored 6 runs. Shadow bowlers P Leishemba Mangang bagged 4 wickets for 14 runs while Goshan, Lanchenba, Chinglemba and Thomson fetched 1 wicket each. Later Shadow player P Leishemba Mangang was declared the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets haul and unbeaten 17 runs knock.
