UC Churachandpur beat SDC Samurou by 2-1 sets in the 41st Junior Boys State Level Volleyball Tournament 2021 organised by All Manipur Volleyball Association at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

The first set was an action packed game as both teams showed their smashing prowess but SDC had better luck as they took it by 26-24 points. However, the UC team rallied back strongly in the second set and won it by 25-15 point to level 1-1 game, needing the deciding game and UC had no difficulty in taming its opponent by 15-11 point for the victory.

In another match, NYVA Naorem beat USWC Uchiwa by 2-0 sets with 25-23 and 25-15 points while HYDO Heigrujam beat LMYC Laipharok Maring by 2-0 sets with 26-24 and 25-20 points.

As for the Junior Girls category, KAYO Khamenlok beat SSC Senapati by 23-25, 25-23, 16-14 points while KYLSC Kachikhul beat PYC Naorem by 25-23 and 25-19 points and UNT Top Siphai beat KAYO Khamenlok by 25-17, 20-25 and 16-14 points.

The Mini Boys quarter final will have SCYC (B) taking on AMIMYDO (B) while USWC will face AMIMYDO(A), HVA to meet HIDA and AMIMYDO(C) to play the MRC team.
