Renowned Thang-Ta master Rk Sanahal's 123rd Birth Anniversary was celebrated with pomp and gaiety by Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association at its Shanglen at Yumnam Huidrom, Imphal West.
JNMDA Director (in-charge) Pukhrambam Bilash Singh led the function by paying floral tributes to the portrait of late Thang-Ta Master Sanahal along with Sintakpurel Kh. Dhabalo Khaba, Advisor, Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur, Manipur State Kala Akademi Awardee and president, Eastern Kala Vidya Thang-Ta Association, Nongmeibung and Thounaojam Priyokumar Singh.
The celebration was jointly organised by the Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur along with Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom and Thang-Ta Federation of India.
Thang-Ta gurus, Instructors and Players of the different Thang-Ta Institutions of Manipur took part in the celebration, paying rich tributes as a mark of his dedication for the promotion of Thang-Ta Martial Arts.
