TBSFA FC edged out KVFA Kakching by 3-1 goals to move into the quarter final of the 4th Sangai Trophy Veterans' Football Championship 2022 organised by UVFA Manipur, played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
TBSFA FC struck through O Inaocha Singh, who scored two goals while Herojit Singh fetched one goal, enroute to the quarter final. The lone goal for KVFA was scored by Th Rengshel.
Three TBSFA players Hemo, Binanta, Ranjit and KVFA players Roshankumar, Lokendro got yellow bookings in the match.
In another match, TRVSA Malom thrashed Sirti Chandel by 5-1 goals. W Umakanta scored two goals while Th Sanjoy, K Bobo, N Sarat chipped in with a goal each for Malom team while Borpa Monsang fetched the lone goal for Sirti Chandel.
With the completion of the league round, ATVFA Thangmeiband, TBSFA FC Tabungkhok, FC Imphal Mayai Koibi, UVSA FC Lilong Chajing, UVSA Lilong Chajing, FLAM Imphal, VSAI Thangmeiband and SVA Khongjom Keirak have made it to the quarter final, which will begin from June 12.
