TG English School, Bishnupur will face Keinou High School in the final of U-17 Boys category of the 61st District Level Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament for U-17 Boys played at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

In the first semi final of U-17 Boys, TG English School beat Bishnupur Higher Secondary School by 3-1 goals. TG took the early lead when K Rohit came up with the opening goal in the 9th minute and later Kamei Langsanglung consolidates in 14th minute to dictate terms in the game.

However, Bishnupur Higher Secondary fought back and got the needed breakthrough when Kh Manglemba scored in 30th minute to trail by 1-2 goals. But TG English School did further damage when Suraj Wangkhem hit the winning goal in the 44th minute, to guide his team to the final.

Keinou High School on the other hand got the better of Pinjabati High School, Wangoo by 5-3 goals during kicks from penalty mark after both teams were locked with 1-1 goals in regulation time.

H Torres struck the opening goal for Keinou team while Santosh fetched the equaliser for Pinjabati team, needing a penalty shootout to break the ice.

In the resultant shootout, Keinou High School scored through L Rohit, M Newton, N Rohit, H Torres while for the Pinjabati team, Pritam and Mangal managed to beat the keeper.

As for the U-14 Boys, Utlou High School will meet TG English School, Bishnupur in the final. Enroute to the final, Utlou HS beat Pinjabati High School by 4-1 goals while TG English School outplayed GNK English School, Thinungei by 6-0 goals.
