SROY Singjamei athletes claimed the overall Team Champion title, grabbing 69 medals in the 41st State Age Group Athletic Championship 2021 held at Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak. The SROY Singjamei team claimed 32 gold medals along with 19 silver medals and 18 bronze medals for the top spot.
HAU Heirok took the overall 1st Team Runners-up title fetching 11 gold medals, 17 silver medals and 16 bronze medals while SAI RC athletes settled for the overall 2nd Team Runners-up title winning 9 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.
On the last day action of the Javelin event, P. Shrivash of HAU wins the gold medal with a throw of 44 meter while N. Rohit of KNSAA fetch the silver medal with 35.69 points and S. Arunkumar of SYPO got the bronze medal with 32.45 meter.
As for the Mens Open 100 meter race, M. Aken of SROY Singjamei claimed the gold medal with a timing of 11.29 seconds while teammate Laljakai Khongsai took the silver with 11.48 seconds and L. Mangalsana of SAI fetch the bronze medal with 11.56 seconds.
In the Women 100 meter race, MPSC made a clean sweep with S. Rebita Devi claiming the gold with 15.02 seconds while A. Surbala Devi took the silver with 15.34 second and Th. Radhesana Devi got the bronze medal with 15.86 seconds.
N Ichantombi Devi of SROY Singjamei also walked away with the gold medal in the Women Discuss Throw with a distance of 23.66 meter while N. Arundhati of MPSC fetch the silver medal with 17.75 meter and S. Laxmi Chanu of MPSC settle for the bronze medal with 17.45 meter.
In the High Jump U-16 Boys, LSA athletes Md. Aziz cleared the height of 1.50 meter for the gold medal while compatriot Samin Khan took the silver medal with 1.40 meter.
