Several condoled the death of footballer Abuichung Dangmei of Keishamthong, Imphal.

The Football Lovers Manipur condoled the demise of Abuichung Dangmei of Keishamthong Kabui Colony on November 17 at his residence. Abuichung, who is a former Executive Council member of Football Lovers Association Manipur (FLAM), had played various tournament representing FLAM and the Association prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

IWDFA 2nd Division

SYPA thrashed SICO Lourembam Leiaki by 3-1 goals in the 10th K.Karnajit Memorial 2nd Division Football League 2021 played at Pamyal Patsoi Ground. As for the 4th Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division League played at the same venue, KSYC Hiyangthang beat YAC Yaiskul by a solitary goal while USC Phayeng beat KRYPSA Naoremthong by 2-1 goals.
 
Dress House in the final

Dress House, Patsoi beat Heingang FC by a solitary goal to sail into the final of the first Five a Side Men's Open Football Tournament for Sawombung Trophy 2021 played at SSC Playground, Sawombung. In the first semi final match, the lone winning goal for Dress House was scored by Suranjoy in 12 minute to lead his team to the final. Dress House player Chungmei, Peter and Heingang player Rk Robin got a yellow card in the match.

AMFA congratulates CM

The All Manipur Football Association has shown its gratitude to Chief Minister N Biren Singh for extending financial aid amounting to Rs 3 lakh for flight tickets of Manipur Senior Women's Football Team for participating in the 26th Hero Senior Women's National Football Championship 2021-22 to be held at Kerala from November 28 to December 2, 2021.

Liwa Khullen, Lambung, Chandel Khullen, Cheengkhu YC in last eight stages

Liwa Khullen FC progressed into the quarter final Ziontlang FC by 6-3 goals during kicks from penalty mark in the DC Chandel Trophy Football Tournament 2021 organised by DSA Chandel at Sports Complex. Both teams had even chances in the match as they held on 2-2 goals in the normal time play, but failed to consolidate the margin in the latter half of play, resulting in the penalty shootout.
Ziontlang finds the loopholes in the opponent defence when Renglan struck from a close angle in the 20 minute for the lead. But equally responsive was Liwa Khullen as they fetched the equaliser from a penalty in the 35 minute with Jesse converting it to perfection.

Liwa Khullen lost no time to increase the lead when Jacob swiftly slotted home the lead in 36 minute. However Ziontlang jumped back strongly with Salemthang fetching the equaliser in the added time of 40 plus 2 minute to level 2-2 goals. With both teams failing to consolidate the scoreline, the penalty shootout was pressed into action. For Liwa Khullen, Jesse, Jacob, Homring, Thimdon finds the net but Ziontlang FC manages just one kick to perfection from Salemthang while Ramjanglien, Chungam mistimed their shot for the defeat. In the other matches, Lambung YCC beat Liwa Chaning YCC by 5-3 goals during penalty shootout to booked their quarter final berth while Chandel Khullen YC beat Hnaringkhu YC by 6-4 goals during kicks from penalty mark and Cheengkhu YC beat New Wangparal YC by 2-1 goals to enter the quarter final as well.

National Thang-Ta Coaches Training concludes

The three days National Thang-Ta Coaches & Time Scoring Result Training concludes at Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom on Friday. During the three days course, the Thang-Ta Federation of India officials along with the participants also observed the 121 Birth Anniversary of Sintakpurel Rk.Sanahal with floral tributes for his contribution to the promotion of Manipur indigenous martial art Thang-Ta.
The Thang-Ta Federation of India also feted Longjam Sophiya Chanu on her achieving the Gold medal in 2021 International Martial Arts Contest(Online) organised by 2021 International Martial Arts Contest(Online) Promotion Committee hosted by World Martial Arts Union, World Martial Arts Masterships Committee under UNESCO, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Chungbuk Province, Chungju City.

KFA open night tourney: Paothang Memorial Team, KYC, LS Football Academy sails through to QFs

Paothang Memorial Team sailed through to the quarter finals round after overwhelming Chavang Football Club (4-3) in the ongoing Kuki Football Academy's Open Night Football Tournament on Thursday night at D Phaihel village.

Kamminthang hat-trick in the 31st, 49th and 60th minutes and Tongminsei 28th minutes goals sent Paothang Memorial Team to the quarterfinals rounds as it overwhelmed Chavang Football Club who managed to score three goals through Paolenmang (3rd), Seijalen (13th) and Thenkholal (56th).

In the second match, Kholjang Youth Club had an easy 3-1 win over Thadou Sporting Club (U-18) to book a berth in the quarterfinals round. Kagawa (37th), Lunminhao (50th) and Jangjagin (62nd) scored Kholjang's side while Thanggunlal (30th) scored for Thadou Sporting Club.

In the third match, Lemba (8th) and Lalgoulen (32nd) scored one goal each to overwhelm LMT Saparmeina and book a berth in the quarterfinals round
