The North East Cricket Development Committee has selected six cricketers from Manipur for conferment of the prestigious 3rd NECDC Achievers' Awards 2024 which is scheduled to take place on June 1 at Shillong, Meghalaya.
According to the Manipur Cricket Association, among the six players, five are women players. The association also congratulated them for their hard work and determination to achieve such feats. The event will be supervised by Meghalaya Cricket Association.
Force Kshetrigao players Sheikh Neha will be bestowed with the NE Zone Emerging Players award, while Barkhatun Khanam will receive award for Top Batting Performance in U-15 Girls category.
PTRC Patsoi player Laishram Linthoingambi Chanu will be given the award for Top Batting Performance in U-19 Women's category, while Thoudam Mangalsana of PTCC Patsoi in Top Bowling Performance in U-23 Women's category.
THAU player, Keisham Kalpana Devi will be honoured with the Top Wicket Keeping Performance in U-23 Women's, while the lone male player of Lilong RCA's, Md Danish Khan will be awarded the Top Bowling Performance in U-16 Boys category.
