Classic Football Academy, Chingmeirong blanked SAI by 2-0 goals to sail into the quarter final of the 12th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial CRPF Football Tournament 2021-22 that was played at Turf Ground, SAI Sports Complex, Takyel.

The first half was an evenly poised game with neither teams taking any chances but making occasional raids but without any fruitful result. In another match, Kuki Sporting Club, Kangpokpi pushed out Muvanlai Athletics by 5-4 goal.
