Sang-Gai Football School, Angtha posted a 4-1 goal win over Neroca FC in the opening match of the Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club FUTSAL Tournament 2023-24 which got underway at Artificial Turf in Khuman Lampak.
Sang-Gai FS displayed much more agility and produced the opening goal in the 9th minute through Paringamba Yengkhom. However, Neroca FC equalized it in the 14th minute through Gangmei Lanjonlung.
Showing more determination in the game, Sang-Gai FS scored again through Md. Musharaf in the 16th minute and three minutes later, L Sailesh Singh came up with the third goal to take the lead in the first half. Skipper Sh. Priyojit did his part fetching the winning goal in the 28th minute of the game.
Twelve teams are participating in the tournament.
AMSA general secretary Rk Sanayaima Singh along with AMFA president M Ratankumar Singh and IWDFA president W Mobimacha Singh graced the opening function.
