A team of Sports Authority of India (SAI) officials from New Delhi, led by Shiv Sharma Deputy Director General, is camping in Imphal.
The visiting officials of SAI including Bibhu Kalyan Nayak, Director, NCSSR and Shibananda Mishra, deputy director, SAI, HO, New Delhi visited SAI, NERC Takyelpat, Imphal on Sunday.

In a release, SAI Imphal said that the visit was in connection with their official tour to attend the sports minister’s conference to be held on Monday at Imphal.
The officials interacted with the coaches and sports science staff of National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) Imphal and discussed matters related to the upliftment of the centre and the improvement of the performance of athletes during their visit.
