The 3rd Sangaikot Area Games and Sports Associations (SAGSA) meet, 2021 that began on Wednesday at Sangaikot volleyball and football playground concluded on Saturday.
It was organised by Kuki Students Union, Sangaikot Block in aid of Ambulances project for the Sub division which were divided into four areas.
In the SAGSA sports meet, 10 men's and eight women’s teams participated in volleyball while eight teams took part in the football tournaments.
In the main football final match, MAYWO (A) and SAYO (B) teams played which was decided by a penalty kick.
The MAYWO (A) won with a score of 4-3 as the regulation time ended with 1-1 scores. In men's volleyball, Moljol YC beat Dumlian Youth club and in women's volleyball final Moljol YC beat Haysaa YC.
The closing ceremony was attended as chief guest by the MLA and chairman of MANIREDA and MTDC Ginsuanhau Zou.
