Manipur boxer Kh Rudraksh Singh clinched the gold medal of 40-42 kg in the 67th National School Games (Boxing) for U-14 Boys

Manipur boxer Kh Rudraksh Singh clinched the gold medal of 40-42 kg in the 67th National School Games (Boxing) for U-14 Boys held at Akola, Maharashtra.

The final match saw Rudraksh Singh beating host state Maharastrian boy with 3-2 points verdict for the gold medal.  

Mentioned may be that Rudraksh beat Haryana boxer by 4-3 points in the semi final.

As for other Manipur boxers, Ronald Keisham, Kh. Sahil, Y. Givson, M. Lanchenba and Kh. Leishemba have lost to their opponents in the semi final bout and had to settle for the bronze medals.  

In the School Games, 11 boxers in U-14 years and 12 boxers in U-17 years participated in the meet.
