Poloi Football Club, Chingarel Tezpur held on to Classic Football Academy, Chingmeirong for 1-1 draw to share a point each in the Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Both the teams have won all their four respective matches earlier but seems to have found their perfect match on Sunday, to share one point each and to stay in the limelight.
Poloi FC got the breakthrough in the 17th minute of the game from K Genius to take charge of the first half play. However, the second half proved to be a great battle but Classic FA had their way with Y Banty fetching the equaliser just in time at the 38th minute.
Poloi FC player Md Nawaz Khan, prowling for the winning goal, had a rather sad day as he was sent off with a red card in the 40th minute from double caution.
In another match, Juvenile Club, Tera continued their shining performance winning their fifth match beating Naoton Football Academy by 5-1 goals.
Juvenile Club forward M Nelson rattled the opponent net thrice for his hattrick goals while Shital Oinam and L Dhakeshwar fetched a goal each. L Dhakeshwar had conceded an own goal in the first half in favour of Naoton FA.
Sang-Gai Football School, Angtha routed Balananda Football Academy by 7-0 goals.
