Napsa Kha Imphal beat Oscar Paona Bazar by 21 runs in the 9th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2022 played at Oriental College & Model Higher Secondary School Ground, Imphal West.
Taking the crease, batsman Ratankumar guided Napsa Kha Imphal with an electrifying knock of 47 runs from 27 balls along with Simon, who hit an unbeaten 25 runs from 15 balls to post 156 runs for 6 wickets from 20 overs. Ibobi Singh made 27 runs and Bhogen contributed 24 runs to the team total.
Oscar bowler Rajesh, Kenedy bagged 2 wickets each while Devkanta and Thomas picked up 1 wicket.
Chasing the target, Oscar top order failed to get a firm footing but middle order batsman Rajesh made a stand getting 49 runs off 23 balls while Gobin made 21 runs from 19 balls but fell short of the required run as they were bundled out for 135 runs for 10 wickets from 19.4 overs.
Napsa bowler Doren claimed 3 wickets while Ratankumar got 2 wickets, Puthiba, Bhogen and Ibobi picked up 1 wickets each. Later Napsa player Ratankumar was declared the Man of the Match for his 47 runs and 2 wickets haul.
